Mark Starosciak | Founder

Mark founded WineLeague in 2006 with the help of his compatriot, local Denver attorney David Ball.

Given the overwhelming success of WineLeague in Denver, Mark is dedicated to helping other cities across the US start their own leagues. The goal is ambitious: A WineLeague® in each of the nation’s top 25 cities by 2025. Nothing like a stretch goal to get everyone focused!

Mark is a Certified Financial Planner™ and founded Infinium Investment Advisors, LLC in 2009. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring Colorado’s beautiful rivers and lakes in search of trout. He is also an avid skier and plays competitive 8-ball pool.

Kurt Leeney | Denver President
Kurt moved to Denver five years ago and currently works at Plaisance Capital in Cherry Creek as an Investment Analyst and Partner. Prior to Plaisance, Kurt lived in Chicago for four years while working for JPMorgan. He attended Butler University in Indianapolis graduating in 2013. In his spare time, Kurt enjoys snowboarding, fly fishing, and trail running.
Monique Zera | Board Member

Monique is a Business and Strategy Consultant and Industrial Engineer with experience helping companies grow, transform, and expand. She has a passion for process work, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Monique grew up in the wine country of California and moved to Denver in 2010. In search of like-minded wine lovers, she found WineLeague in 2018. She loves gardening, crafts, home improvement projects, and cruising around in her 1968 Camaro SS that she rebuilt with her dad.

Jacob Polakowski | Board Member

Jacob recently moved to Denver and accepted a position with Western Union as a Senior Treasury Analyst. Jacob recently graduated from Grand Valley State University in Michigan. In his free time, you can find him hanging with friends, watching sports, working out and exploring all Colorado has to offer in the outdoors. 

Andres Marquez | Board Member

Andres is a Denver native, born in the Montbello neighborhood and raised in East Los Angeles. He recently graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Political Science and is currently working with Mark at Infinium as an investment analyst. Andres is actively studying to take the LSAT and hopes to enter law school in the fall of 2022.
